Going to Church

I will be going in a few minutes. I don't believe the crap I hear from the pulpit, but I do like the people, and they put up with me quite well. I guess they think I will come around someday, who knows, it could happen but I doubt it. I'm open for anything that will quite my inner self from being so questioning of being here on this earth. They are having a dinner this afternoon at the fellowship hall, and I like to eat so I guess I will go to that too. I enjoy being with my wife also and she doesn't mind if I don't believe all the stuff they do. Enjoy your day.

Until they get into man made doctrine i am fine with the TV peope. It's all pretty much the same basic principles of christianity. If it makes you feel good, who's to complain.

Good for you, its nice to hear a positive message every now and then. It sounds like you can come and go as you please and not worry about making a commitment that could possibly result in being ostracized later. I received several postcards in the mail from churches that are going to have special holiday musical services, I'm thinking about going just to listen to the music and see all the pretty decorations. I also thought about finding a someplace with a predominately black congregation that will have musical holiday services just so I could listen to their choir. Okay...truth be told...I've always liked gospel music. Now I'm getting off topic and rambling...

I wanted to go to my place of worship today but the road is still partially blocked between here and Home Depot. Maybe next Sunday the wife and I will once again grace the hallowed halls of light fixtures and plumbing! Praise be new light! One for the bath room and one for the rental living room! carmel
