Religion is a formalized series of beliefs
Faith is a belief in a particular thing that cannot be proven be external evidence.
So, religions generally involve certain faiths (beliefs).
Sometimes the word "faith" is used in place of the word "religion" (as in "people of various faiths" usually means "people who are memebers of various religions").
