I have this disfellowshipped witness that comes to my door about everyday now. She seems to think the congregation here is the only one that is corrupt. She writes to the society and gets no response, she emails and has her letters returned (she doesn't know about the email blocks), she has tried to talk to the elders and they turn her away. I have tried to explain to her that is the society and that is this religion. Then she tries to tell me that if I don't get baptised again, then I won't make it in the new system with her. I am patient with her and I have not turned her away. She has discribed to me what it has been like to be disfellowshipped and then says its all the fault of the elders in her congregation and that the society doesn't work that way. She is so confused. I will print off and give to her anyone's comments that reply to this post if you all are willing to help me help her see just what kind of cult jehovah's witnesses are. She doesn't think jws are involved in the UN and that it is God that is doing this. She was disfellowshipped for telling others of her different views and deemed her an apostate but she believes that other people of other congregations view the same. Is Satan abyssed? She thinks so. Is this armegeddon? She thinks so. I personally think that it doesn't matter but I've left that religion. She continues going out in service everyday. She has people of other congregations getting her magazines and books and believes that the society is ok with this but when I have talked to others about what the rules are for disfellowshipping, they tell me you aren't allowed to go in service, get magazines or books and your not allowed to talk about religion. Can you help this lady by posting your comments to her situation? I really thank you for your time and input.

I think your friend is in need of psychiatric help and medication.

If you have patience for that person, that's great. I spent about 3 years having long talks 2 or 3 days a week with a fringe but too smart jw. I would deprogramm some doctrine, and then he would go see a jw freind of his or an elder and get reprogramed. The elders verbally abused him and a couple of times physically hit him. Finally i just told him to do what yhe wants. His life is his. I'm not responsible for it in any way. He still calls me, and i ignore them. Every couple of months i will talk to him. He has basically stopped going to meetings, after 4 years.

I'm just telling you my experience to show what can be involved.

thank you for the warning. this witness was involved for 40 years. I just keep telling her I'm not interested in her religion and hope that she will quit dwelling on trying to change them. She is elderly though, and very lonely. I don't think it would be right to just turn her away or ignore her as a person. I do ignore her beliefs, and at times make fun of some of the things she says just to stop her mack truck, down hill conversation. Not mean but just to get her to change the subject. Out of this all she has strengthened my belief that I did the right thing and leave. I wouldn't want to be that messed up in 40 years. It was hard enough leaving after 6.
(this sounds funny saying)thank you saintsatan for your comments

From your description, she sounds quite mentally ill. Perhaps any help you give her should be from that standpoint? Not from a logical standpoint?

Meet her at the door with a ouji board and tell her you have been asking it questions about her. Then tell her that going in field service is just what the demons want (according to the ouji board) as it shows not respect for theocratic arrangement. Then say the demons told you that the Kingdom Hall she hates is really operating under Jehovah's direction and if she does not go back and apologize to everyone about her behavior God will kill her at Armageddon. Then say you are now a witch and you want her to join you in witchcraft rituals dancing naked in the moonlight.

This should accomplish two things: Get her back to to the Kingdom and reinstated which is what she really wants. 2. Stop her from bothering you.
