wants to control every aspect of your life.

At the last public talk I ever attended, the bro made it a major point to counsel the youths in attendance about how much math was appropriate™ for them to take in school. It was surreal. And don't even get me started about the annual 'BEHAVE AT THE CONVENTION YOU GUYS!!! GEEZ!!!' Kingdom Ministry articles.
At a circuit assembly part about "cleanliness", they had two elders sitting at a table on-stage talking about .... PHYSICAL cleanliness.
One elder said to the other, "For physical cleanliness, you basically need two things: soap...and water."
Gee, why didn't I think of that?
A recent District Assembly there was a motivational talk about staying a virgin. It was like a pep rally. The speaker would say "Are you going to avoid pre-marital sex?" and the audience cheered "YEAH!!!" Then again, "Are you going to avoid pre-marital sex?" and everyone "YEAH!!!" I agree with the principal, but I was so embarrased to be there.

I think that April 1, 1995 Puketower article has to be the absolute stupidest, most worthless "counsel" on the planet. And the most damaging (I think it deserved having the Kingdumb Hell decorated for Christmas right on the spot, and it was studied in the middle of May). That was the one where they blamed poor old Satan for causing the opposite sex to reject you all the time.
I think I would have been better off had they, in lieu of going through that study, they would have just brought a few assault rifles on the platform and sprayed the audience with slugs. It would have been a much quicker death--done in seconds instead of dragging on for decades.
