I have got some recordings of the Judicial Comitee hearings that I have been to over the past year.... It shows what a bunch of idiots they all really are.... If you want me to email them to you let me know...
If you also know of any good software to shorten it tell me as one of them is too large and needs cutting down.....

I use (free) Wave Creator 3.1.0.47 (there may be a later version).
When it's time to save, the first time each session, I select the format: PCM, 24 khz, 8 bit, and Mono. The lesser the values the worst the quality and the less disk space needed.
For susequent saves it should remember those settings.

Audacity is good.
I use an old version of SoundForge for editing.
