It's USUAL for those in charge to have a totally different belief infrastructure to ones in the general public. It really is a scandal that they enforce a 'believe or damned' doctrine they do not adhere to themselves!!
I suspect Russle and Rutherford had an idea about some of this stuff on the link below.
