BSG meaning Battlestar Galactica. Being on Christmas break, I have had some time on my hands, and I have watched most of the new Battlestar Galactica series. Watching it has taken me on an interesting quest, and I have discovered that the producer of the original Battlestar series was Mormon. His Mormonism made its way into the show. It is also interesting that he chose to combine these influences with Greek mythology. This has led me to an interesting idea, and I would like some input from some of the more well-read members on this board, as to what mythology would best combine with JW doctrine?
My first thought was Roman, however, Roman mythology is too closely tied with Greek mythology. Any ideas?

Pioneer Spit...oh, i mean Spirit
Prevalent are nicknames likes Apollo, Athena and others. The astrological symbols play heavily on locating Earth. Plus, the whole Mormon thing--think the voiceover from the original series. . .'there are those who believe that life here began out there'. . .
Personally I really like the show.

Those cylons gave me nightmares when I was a kid. But I never missed an episode. I never realized they were wearing holy underwear under that armor.
