Sorry guys, no post-Armaggedon teachings here but...

I asked an elder if those outside of the tri-state area would have to travel all the way to Patterson to attend the school and he said yes.

He also said it would be difficult for him to attend as he would need to take 2 weeks off - I said that's most people's vacation in a year.

The other thing he said that bothered him was giving his employer enough notice to take the 2 weeks off.

So, for an elder living in the south, how would they be able to afford to get to New York? Is anyone going to pay their return flight?

According to this elder, the Presiding Overseers attend the school first, and then the rest go out in batches.

If any of this info is inaccurate or you heard differently please let us know!

I have to wonder, how many elders are going to quit their good paying jobs to attend? After all, not all employers give that much vacation each year and in some cases they will let you go for taking unapproved time off work. God will bless them though.

It will be interesting to find out how many elders will stay home because of not being able to take off for 2 weeks, money problem, unhappy wife

being stuck at home with kids or just a lack of interest in being fed the same old vomit.

When i did attend this "special training" there was hardly anything new and always felt it was a waste of my time and money.

The school's not to educate the elders, it's an inventory. The Society can get a name list of who's loyal and obedient and who they can depend on by who shows up at Bible camp. The returning elders are sworn to secrecy and that adds to the aura of mystical management.

I remember my dad went to New York Bethel Bible camp for 2 weeks years ago. He thought it was the cat's ass.

I see only some of the staunch older (but not retired) elders refraining from going.
They will sell this as necessary. The vast majority will find a way- many will take
a loss of pay for the school. Some will quit their job and become window-washers.

I have a feeling that the school will swell their heads, they won't feel that it was a
total waste of time. They will feel that the GB cares about them, considers them
princes now, ready to take that title in the new system. They will be taught to
protect their organization through these terrible times of persecution against God's
people in the last part of the final stages of the last days. They will even throw
themselves on grenades for the organization.

A couple of them, maybe more, will wake up from this heavy indoctrination.

OR IT COULD JUST BE A BIG WASTE OF TIME.

When I went back in the 60s it was a month long. My employer let me go to the school without complaining. It was on the farm in NY state and we worked half the day and went to school the other half. It was in the fall and the trees were beautiful. A brother had flown his airplane from out west and took me flying over the finger lakes. My wife was working for DuPont then and making about twice what I was. She took vacation and went to NYC to take a course on dog grooming and came by the school on the last few days and road back home with me. They let her stay in my room by ourselves, they knew we wanted to have sex after a month apart. I had fun there.

It's just another way to waste people's time and make them feel proud in doing so. You learn nothing in these "schools(??)". Whether the Theocraptic Misery "School(??)" where everyone is supposed to be members, the Ministerial Training Waste "School(??)" where they want all single men to join (and keep anyone single without prospects until they have completed the program and are useless), or Gilead, they are all a fine waste of time and money.

Maybe the brother's can make belts or wallets while there, and sell them to the congo when they get home.
