Do things on a small budget if it won't affect your chances, for example your Web Hosting - sign up for a cheap package with a company like dreamhost that you can run month to month so you dont have to do a yearly plan and invest money you may never see again.
Do it Legal. Dont take shortcuts 'obtaining' any software or necessities. If it catches up with you its a nightmare you wont get without and it may also end your dream business.
Do not share your idea with people you don't trust, it sounds mad but the more people you tell the more people might become competition - but still ask for needed advice like you are.

Lots and Lots of scams out there! Been doing it since 2001. Customer Service drives me crazy. Selling the business, due to close next week. Take your time, triple check everything people tell you. Take a couple of inexpensive online courses on internet marketing FIRST!

I always thought an online porn site would be good. I think thats the biggest business on the net.
And if you decide to participate in the video shoots it could even be more exciting and rewarding.
You make and post a new video each week and then sell them. Also you can sell still shots or give them away to drum up business for the video.
Porn is something everybody needs.
You can get 20 dollars a month times unlimited customers and you have the pleasure of creating new material.
You just have to figure out how to work the spy ware so your product pops up on people computers when they are surfing the net looking for Jesus.
The jesus freaks will be your best customers but they will speak evil of you behind your back.
You have to be like jesus when you deal with them. Turn the other cheeck.
One good thing about porn its not a scam. The folks pay their money and you give them a new product each week.
And they always have a happy ending.

I own an online business and its a lot more work then you would ever expect. Can be very rewarding, however, a lot of work.
A couple of things to realize:
1. Having a great website does not make it automatically successful. It has to be advertised properly.
2. The more unique content that you have, the better. You will earn higher rankings on the search engine. Don't try to take a shortcut and just copy material because google recognizes copied material and won't help you in the rankings...
3. When you do write content, include top ranking key words within the content that people would actually search for in google to get your product.
4. Don't include more then about 5 or so keywords per page. Google is on to that trick...
