Two Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses to Tell Why They Became Atheists

I'm happy to see that Ben and Ann can come forward and tell their story to a group like this.
I'm not the only ex-JW atheist in the Minnesota Atheists group. One of the officers recently e-mailed me and told me he not only grew up JW, but that he and one of his parents were 'anointed'. Later he turned to Catholicism, then to atheism. I think when you leave JW's, you can examine everything you've ever been told about religion and the Bible. Some choose another religion, some choose to disengage from philosophy, others become atheist.
OMG! Now What?

Thanks Serotonin_wraith! I would love to go hear what they have to say. Would anyone else be considering attending?

Tonight I bought the portable atheist by Christopher Hitchens. I am an agnostic. I dont know how I will feel after I read it.
Has anyone read The Portable Atheist?
