I did some research on Texas cities for retirement locations on city-data.com. I eliminated that area because of this- That area has a very high number of registered sex offenders 286/1 ratio. Spring,Tx just a few miles south has about 250/1. I wouldn't pick any city to live in that had a ratio worse that 1000/1.
