A question of law has arisen. I'd like your opinions if you don't mind. When a law or laws have existed and then are abolished, does one need to still keep them? Like: Do not run a red light? If this law is abolished, may we run red lights without fear of getting a ticket? (Trivial example, but I think you get my point.) According to Ephesians 2:15, Christ's death abolished all the laws in the Old Testament. Wiped them out! Kaput! Why do we keep them? Why do we pick and choose certain laws to keep and not the others? I'm reading in my Bible, King James Version, with the words of Christ in red, and I come across very few laws, if you can even call them that, which he stated. Okay, so now the OT laws are abolished by Christ's death. What laws DO EXIST now for true Christians to keep? Can I steal? Can I commit adultery? Can I murder? What laws EXIST for true Christians, and why? Where are they written?
