    Seems to me that a lot of religions are becoming just as controlling, mean, and power hungry as the WTS. They will all certainly want to stomp out free-thinkers like us.

    I'd say it's a good thing when religions show their mean, ignorant notions. The stricter and more conservative they become, the more they will drive thinking people away. With a smaller power base, such churches will become less powerful.

    Our uncivilized ancestors battled over territory, women and food. They battle over spiritual territory now to the point of killing unbelievers. The Katrina hurricane showed me that humans need only 2-3 days of privation to revert back to their supressed uncivilized mentality. Let's hope the electricity stays on.

    And you should have that freedom of opinion and action.

    My objection to all this is that a CHURCH organization is trying to dictate it.

    We are going back to middle ages mode when the church made the laws and the politicians enforced them.
