From The Golden Age of February 10, 1926 page 310, "Air baths are good for preventing colds... What you do is strip naked mornings and evenings and then bob up and down for a while."

I found this at the Watchtower Society Quotes site in this section on medical quackery. I'm not surprised that the WTS tried to shut it down because of all the embarrassing information there.

There was alot of medical quackery going on back in those days. The Bible students had no monopoly on that. When I read from the "Quotes" site, the medical info made me giggle occasionally. I thought about it when an old x-ray device was found that used to be used in shoes stores for the salesman to see the position of your foot inside a shoe. It leaked radiation. Crazy stuff people were playing with in those days. I think more than anything, The WTB&TS is more embarrassed of their previous light and just how different a religion it has become.

Yes this is sound advice that our family still practices today. When father gets in from a long day making cheese for the "Bethel Family" and smells like cheese in more places then I would care to mention, we all gather and watch as he strips and bounces all along taking in deep breaths of the cheese odors.

Very true. I get a kick out of it because they thought they were God's channel of communication, yet they always seem to be a little behind the times.

You would think if they were Gods mouthpiece he would give them better information. It's almost like they are full of shxt.

yeah they are still full of it, judging by the stink from the kool aid edition.

But remember the advice I read this in a book on Home management - the advice was from a book in the 1600 s :

"upon emptying the chamber pot, do not scour it, for the odour is most healthful."
