The date is the same worldwide. March 22, 2008 (for those interested, 2009's wastefest is April 9).

The time is variable. This year, it will be near 6 PM at the earliest (assuming that the sun goes down at 6 PM; it will vary depending on longitude and how close you are to the edge of your time zone). Bear in mind that several congregations using the same Kingdumb Hell could push your wastefest back to a later hour.

Next year is going to be trickier. By April, and the farther you are into April, the northern latitudes are starting to significantly pick up more daylight. In Britain, this is more significant than in the US, since you are farther north. In the Southern Hemisphere, you are actually losing daylight and could make it possible for it to be that much earlier the later in the year it is held. Australia and New Zealand are lucky in that regard in that they could have their Crapmorial as early as 5 PM (but will have to rush home from work). But in Britain, you will likely have it that much later--possibly as late as 7:30 PM in the far north next year.

Also bear in mind that these figures do not account for daylight savings time. If that is observed where you are, you will have to add an hour later if it falls before March 22. If your daylight savings time is later, you will miss it this year but have to allow for it next year (unless yours is toward the end of April). Those in the Southern Hemisphere with daylight savings time may be coming back to standard time, and will not get that extra break this year.

This whole "sundown sunup" crap proves that the Reject Jesus Fest must have been celebrated by early Christians more than once a year.

If the exact hour it was celebrated affected the heavenly prospects of the partakers, why is there no Witchtower style fuss in the Christian writings?

AND since most of us are just stooges and onlookers (even the Witchtower admits that "other sheep" don't need to worry unnecessarily about missing it) WHO CARES?
