Using their own techniques

You know how they teach that you should come back to people houses because they circumstances may change and if they may be receptive to the Good News(TM)?

We know what that means: "If somebody has problems he/she will be vulnerable and may see you as an angel sent by God and they will believe 1914 easily."

But here is the twist: Why don't use their methods against them?

Do you have friends or family that are still witnesses? You will get squat if you try to make them reason (believe me, I know). But if you wait for a problem to arrive, they may listen to you. I know it is not fair, but if that will help them see the Real World, so be it.

    What do you think?

    Sounds good...

What kind of "problems" do you think will make a JW "vulnerable" in order to make them think?

The problem with Jw's is they are taught that if things are not going well for them is must be thier fault. They are going out in service enought, not putting thier trust in Jehovah, not attending all meetings. They always have some lame excuse and if all else fails it is satans fault. Satan is targeting you.

If you have someone you want to rescue from the organization, it sounds like your way would be worth trying.

I think the safer bet would be to find new friends and family.

I agree. This subtle method is probably the best method against them. Anything that is more hard-lined or direct will cause most JWs to get defensive, and you will be labeled apostate. Subtlety works...
