Sheep In Human Clothing: Scientists Reveal Our Flock Mentality

ScienceDaily (Feb. 16, 2008) — Have you ever arrived somewhere and wondered how you got there? Scientists at the University of Leeds believe they may have found the answer, with research that shows that humans flock like sheep and birds, subconsciously following a minority of individuals.

    baaa-bhaaaa

I was walking out to my car from a busy store the other day.

After a couple of minutes I realized I was blindly following another group of people walking to there car, in the opposite direction as my car.

    I've done that, too.

It always bothered me when I was a JW, they kept saying being "sheep-like" was a good thing. We had some sheep growing up...I never thought of them as very smart. I mean, they are very easily lead-to-slaughter. Or, over a cliff.

I remember a news story where several hundred sheep were killed by a lightening strike. It seems there was one tree in this vast field, big enough for just a couple of sheep. All the others crowded around those two -- all were killed.

After I finally left the WT's influence, I realized why they want "sheep-like" people as members. They are much easier to control.

    Baaaaaaa-No more, no more...

I was considered stiff-necked and rebellious, so I guess not so sheep=like. However, I'm probably as stupid as a sheep sometimes.

A little 'goat-like', questioning personality goes a long way towards saving our butts.

Goats 'look before they leap', not sheeps

    Yay, goats !
