    Oh my goodness!!!

That is so true... I know I've said it on this forum before, but I'm gonna say it again...

I used to beg my grandmother to die cause I thought that was the only way for her to make it into the new system... i was about 6 years old... I would beg her all the time to die and that she couldn't wait til later, she had to die today... I was persistant and practically in tears...

My parents I'm sure had a difficult time explaining that one...

Cognac was one of those "Children of the Damned" Witness kids!..............................Or "Children of the Corn" more like it.

WOW! That is nasty, but I can see why you thought of JW kids.

This is one reason why I have decided not to expose my children to the JW idea of how God is going to save the world..... kill 99.9% of the sons-o-bitches! NICE!

    I THINK I'LL PASS!

Poor kids. Just playing back their programming. Good for a laugh, in a cartoon, though.

You're not the only one that thought stuff like this -- and I wasn't a kid. You can't help it, really. You put two and two together and realize that dying before the Big-A is the only way your "worldly" loved ones can have a "real life".

Of course, a person ought to be able to sit back and say "WTF?" when they realize their belief system forces them into a logical dilemma like that. But JW's (and any cult, really) are much bigger on "dilemma" than "logical".

Don't beat yourself up too much for believing a lie, millions now living that will never lie.

Thanks! I told my husband last night about it while I had the thought in my head. He told me that's a pretty messed up way to think as a 6 year old...

I told him about the 2 pictures in the My Book of Bible Stories of baby's dying and how that tormented me... The one where the baby was in the womans arm in Noah's day and your taught, "just as in the days of Noah"...

He agreed that the society should never have put those pictures in a childrens book... Its sick that they scare people like that... I was practically a baby...
