when watching recent news reports and tv shows i saw the father, brother and mother of the convicted steve wright for murdering 5 prostitutes , they were showing such concern for the victims familys and seemed to have so much compassion for them , i expected the family of the ex min servant that seriously abused my child to approach me after he went to prison to show such compassion about my child , because they are "jehovahs people " but nothing has happened apart from accusations of apostacy , being lying bitches , being vandals , these people used to be my friends and i have never been a jw , they do not believe it happened to her just to add to her pain , cruel bastards , he is in prison for abusing two other victims . how can people not show compassion for people in her situation , they are heartless robots .
where is the compassion amongst "jehovahs people"

oh looloo, I am so sorry for what happened to your child. Don't expect compassion from JWs. You and your child should get some therapy and then turn your back on the whole miserable organization and walk forward into a better life. It doesn't have to ruin your child's life - not if you are proactive about getting some therapy and moving forward in a positive way. I wonder how you can empower little kids? Maybe someone who knows more about it than I do can help. I just wanted you to know how sorry I am that it happened to you and your child.

I'm very sorry looloo for the anger, hurt and despair you are going through. I will also agree
if you are proactive about getting some therapy and moving forward in a positive way.
My sister has also gone thru this with her daughter it has been many years since the incident and it seems like yesterday. I only wish they had gotten the help
they needed to move forward. It has torn my heart in 2 for their continual pain. You will never forget, but you can empower yourself and your daughter by moving ahead.

Tired of the Hypocrisy
looloo, it makes me sad to think that your child suffered so much. It is awful. I can tell you that I was raised in that organization and have seen no compassion even for longtime witnesses. When my dad died, the presiding overlord approached my brother at the memorial service for my dad and told him, "You need a bible study." Then later in the week he came to my home and told me that my dad was dead and not to worship him. I booted him out of my house along with his little stooge wannabe overlord. They are not concerned with human beings. All they care about is their miserable organization. If their is a God and a Son named Jesus, I am sure they are not going to crap on injured and suffering people.
I hope you can find some good counseling for your baby and that you can be freee of this pain very soon.....

You have to understand the jw mindset....They are VICTIMS! They are always in denial that their people could never do any of the things that they are accused or convicted of! Oh, sure. The wtbts settles out of court with the pedophile scandal and makes their statements of compassion for the victims. But, they will not publicly accept responsibility for the actions of their own. What about the untold number of REPENTANT molesters?
The scars of an abused child run deep and last a lifetime. Jail time for the offender? Is the time served enough for him to realize his wrong? NOT! Recidivism is enormously high among child molesters. It's a part of their chemistry and character . When they are released, it's business as usual.
I feel terrible for your daughter's pain and your own. Love her dearly and keep her close.

Yikes. Even when they're tried and convicted of lurid crimes--they're still 'being persecuted'!
I bet that feels good, seeing him go to prison! I hear that child molesters don't fair well in prison, I've heard. Is your daughter/family continuing to get help in the form of therapy? Well, I wish you guys the best. Remember you have all the support and love of normal, decent humans here and I'm sure other friends, neighbors, etc. JWs just suck, they're hardly human.
