I used to have some information in my archives about how the Watchtower once believed the World Court was the wild beast and that it went into the abyss in 1914 later to come out as the League of Nations. This is important because it is an example of the techncique JW's use of sliding an interpretation around til it seems to fit.
I know they currently believe the League when into the abyss and came out as the United Nations.
I am interested in the earlier interpretation.
It may have been on Prominent Bethelites "The List", but I can't seem to access that site.
