I bought some Jack Herer strain MJ at Santa Cruz collective,, a little pricey but potent as hell. They also carry hash oil, and MJ balm for topical use I highly recomend both.
Here is Jack's sight that has lots of interesting stuff on it and something very important to Californians- "California Cannabis Hemp and Health Initiative 2008" Let hope it get on the ballot and passes.

Hey Frankie, it's been a while. Hope everything is well. You said you bought some MJ at a collective. Does that mean you have a prescription? If so, please tell me how that is going, as I've been thinking about getting one myself. Wifey and I are on our way to Maine, a state that has medical cannabis. We just spent a year in the Puget Sound, WA area, which was, let's just say, ethnobotanically interesting. Please PM me so I can tell you, as it's something I generally keep quiet.
Jack Herer is the man when it comes to hemp...a real courageous dedicated hero.

I bet that our good friends at the FDA are going to totally outlaw it. They have done that with anything that could cure cancer, at the request of the drug companies that make money temporarily treating one cancer only to leave the body open to another cancer. (I hope the leaders of those drug companies get a cancer that would have been easily cured by the natural remedies that they have banned).
Here are a few other possible cancer cures that the FDA has swept under the rug: Various forms of alpha lipoic acid, particularly a form that contains palladium. Laetrille. Vitamin E (the natural form). Spirulina. Eating lots of organic fruits and vegetables. More oxygen, including hyperbaric oxygen. Huge doses of vitamin C. And probably more herbs than will fit on this forum.
Note that none have been "proven" to cure cancer. However, allopathic medicine does a lousy job at curing cancer. It can treat cancer--you clear up one cancer, only to knock out the immune system and get another one. Some of the above have been shown to have beneficial effects only to be suppressed by the drug companies and the FDA (which should be objectively studying the substances, not suppressing them).
In theory, anything that strengthens the immune system, provides antioxidant effect, or alkalizes the body has the potential to cure cancer. The immune system will attack cancer, which is nothing more than rogue cells turned parasites. Chemo also attacks those cancer cells, but also attacks the immune system to leave you vulnerable to another cancer after the first is treated. Oxygen helps alkalize the body, and antioxidants help along those lines. And, vegetables (spirulina is among them) and herbs can alkalize the body, making it hard for cancer to survive. Of course, we need to see more systematic research on the subject before I can recommend a specific herb or food as a cure, and the FDA is bent on helping the drug companies to keep that cure off the market.
Of course, the drug companies are working on the cure (much like the Watchtower Society is working on the end of this system of things). They need to keep natural cures off the market to keep their largely ineffective chemo on, and to keep people thinking they need massive donations to find another drug that works slightly different. Their goal is to make cancer a chronic disease that you can live with but will need lifelong medication to treat.
One thing that IS a quack is the Watchtower Society's early promise of curing cancer. They would not divulge the formula, even to this day. Like anything else they come up with, I will never trust any medical advice that comes from the pages of the Witchtower or Asleep! magazines. They are, in fact, a cancer themselves--one that can be cured by frequenting apostate web sites and doing what they tell you not to do. At least that's one cancer that the cure of is legal and will stay so.

Hemp is nothing more than weed--the oil is produced under controlled conditions. And, it can cure more than cancer when properly used. It treats glaucoma, nausea from chemo, pain, and other conditions. However, medicinal marijuana is illegal in many states (a horrible law).
I do not recommend smoking weed solely to get high. In that capacity, it can ruin your lungs, brain, and liver; it also throws your appetite off balance. And, if you are high, you are more likely to get into accidents and other trouble. Abusing the drug is very dangerous. But, when used properly, it can and should be tried for treatment and cure for these diseases, both standalone and in conjunction with other treatments.
