    Hi Folks,

Here are a few more pictures from my history as a JW.

Back when I was a young kid this couple lived in this trailer in my grandparents yard. They were called colporters(if this is the way it was spelled)and were the counterpart of todays special pioneers. No runing water or toilet. They were dedicated people to what they thought would bring them life everlasting.

This was the housing for my family at an assembly in the 40s. There were several tents and I think the assembly lasted a week. I think it was in St.Louis Mo. They used to have tent cities at assemblies and had the talks on loud speakers there. The ones in the picture are all dead now, two first cousins, my mother and another relative.

A baptism with my brother, myself and my dad performing the baptism. I was holding the towel. This was in the early 50s.

This was so much a part of my life back then, but I also had a life of fun and play. My dad enjoyed living also and we spent a lot of time playing together. I had a great life back then.

    Ken,

Thanks for sharing your photos and memories. We all had some great times and some great friends in our lives as a JW, and we need to remember that as well.

It just makes it hurt all the more.

    Leeches!

(Ever see that old movie with Humphrey Bogart?)

Thanks for the memories and the pictures, that was nice of you to share. At least what they did gave them satisfaction in life. That is the only way to look at it.
