Long time no hear about Slade... yep sounds just like him... to imagine that the true writers are a father and daughter duo... gives me the creeps... good books but not for the fainted hearted...

Yes, now a father and daughter team, but originally the nom de plume of a group of criminal attorneys and forensic specialists from Vancouver, BC, if memory serves ("Headhunter"). Their combined experience in the world of dark and grisly matters of the criminally insane is more than I can imagine, and then they took the tales of real life and used them as a starting point for their tales.
Word is that Headhunter has been optioned and may be developed into a movie, although it is difficult to imagine how that can be done...
I think the news clipping above might have come from Burnt Bones, if it were not true.
