  Sorta funny. .. ish. . .but was enlightening. . .

  While a jw, I had a friend from Brooklyn, she said she was always in awe of the 'brothers', meaning Bethel HQ. She once was perplexed by a subject and called the service desk for help, as she listened to the bro answer, she realized he was her BS conductor in her own cong! She said she kept saying 'Bro. Schmuck I can't believe it's you, I can't believe this!!'

  She knew him and his personal and family problems well, was flabbergasted that HE was the Bethel service/info desk.

  I'd like to call and see what they have to say about the WTS teaching for decades that "the generation that saw the events of 1914 will not pass away...." and then in 1995 saying that the generation is the modern day equivalent of un-repentant Israel. But now, in 2008, the generation is the FDS (just like it was in 1927).
  
  So how can anyone believe that the WTS is God's only mouth piece? Would the one and only "true" religion have to keep changing their teachings?
