well, I wrote a long post about how life sucks for millions of people, not just JWs, but I deleted it. We feel how we feel, and it isn't right for me to get sanctimonious about it and give someone else a sermon. Especially when I have a lot of sad feelings myself, eh? That religion did rob us of a lot. I'd rather forget about it and move forward, but the feelings come up and take me by surprise now and then.

Hortensia said a lot here, as I have felt this at times. I try not to dwell on the negative emotions of my youth being robbed and try to enjoy the life & age I am now
because I can't change it, but maybe what I've learned by it, I may help others just as you can.
Best Wishes

Not just the time, but money and other things in life. They sabotaged my chances of finding a wife after promising to fix the existing difficulty I have with meeting the opposite sex (when all they wanted was for me to join the Value Destroyer Training School and be responsible for the whole world joining the cult). They prevented me from finding work that pays decent. They got me behind, seriously, on computer skills.
