There must be thousands of students from Africa and the far east, who would be only too happy to translate part of a website, or even important threads from this site into their native tongue.

They would earn extra money, and the information would start trickling through.

The Mid and far east and Africa are served by very few lines to the net (most of east africa is served by ONE line) But at least its a start!!

Actually I live near several. There are quite a few cities in the Northeast, including many in Massachusetts, New York, the Seacoast of New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and just about every major city that has a university nearby (without giving my exact location to Brother Hounder). In fact, I live within a few miles of the university I attended.

    Rooster -

It matters because most people in Africa and other countries which are not english speaking cannot understand a word of what is written on this board, freeminds, silentlambs, watchthetower, nor can they understand the CD of Barbara Anderson.

Shouting in English never worked before. No matter how big the capitals you print english in - they cannot understand.

These are the countries where the Witchtower lies are having the biggest success. Does THAT matter?

Mind you it is mostly the third world, so I suppose it doesn't.

Hamster, it depends on what you class as their native tongue. A lot of Africans, middle and far Eastern folks learn to speak English or French as their second language - in some cases even, their first language. I think you underestimate their linguistic abilities - why do you think there are so many Nigerian email scammers?!!

Also, certainly in large parts of Africa, internet access is often very limited unless you live in a large city where electricity is more readily available - but even then, many people are further limited to using an internet cafe to access due to lack of computer and/or telephone line.
