Kevin Garrett is with the Celtics now, and playing awesome ball!
It seems his mom is a JW - but not Kevin. He hid the fact from her that he was playing basketball during high school! Now that he's a mega-millionaire and one of the greatest basketball players ever, she's probably a little more understanding.
He commented recently that he really does up Christmas big, as he only began celebrating it when he turned 18!

MVP indeed! If not him then LeBron or Chris Paul! I'm tired of the Kobe hype! Without the acquisition of Pau Gasol, Kobe wouldn't even be considered for MVP. Thanks to Gasol, however, the Lakers are better and Kobe gets the credit!??? Puh- leeeease!
I realize the same argument can be made for KG getting the nod for MVP, but look at his numbers compared to Kobe. Heck, Kobe's self- righteous attitude would make him a better candidate for becoming a JW rather than MVP!
