I cant decide if this is a clever idea or a really sad reflection on society!

IMO- it is a transfer of responsibility! This is something we as parents should be constantly teaching our children. A half hour class isn't a substitute for a parents good example and training! I found it a very sick concept. But I am sure there are many who will spend the money to send their children. Did you see the princess puppet and the "money" they earn? Ugh. I don't want these as examples for my children! It seems to be a lesson for low self-esteem and jealousy. As I was taught at home, "No, thank you."
I didn't get into the details - but clearly manners are being taught less and less by parents as time goes by...
I think that it is so sad that a situation has arisen where there is a need to have a class to teach littlies good manners!
I don't have kids yet, but I think it's important, on our last vacation wife and I went to Ireland, and we thought man these kids have such great manners, we were talking about how well behaved they were. I hope my kids turn out like that. Side note, a few weeks ago we went out to dinner with a younger couple about 5-6 years younger than my wife and I, I was shocked to see this chick chew her dinner with out closing her mouth, slurp her drink, and talk with food in her mouth, the guy was ok but he burped at the table.
