Did the Watchtower ever have any credibility, and if they did, when did they lose it?
Does the Watchtower have any Credibility left?

Credibility is subjective reality!
They have followers so have some who think so!
The fact they say they have divine advice, yet tell lies as truth, then say it was a mistake is a major problem! A complete contradiction! A point of no return!
And so they simply continue to do what worked before and say they have divine advice and make up new lies hoping one will win them the lottery!
Humans are chips they play in the casino of life!
At present they still have planty of chips and will keep gambling them!

7 million feel they can do no wrong and will not change unless the watchtower tells them directly that they have been wrong on most of the doctrines.

when i look back over the years, I learned much about living a decent, moral life which I believed was from the wt.
yet, when I honestly look at the years, it was the bible principals that made a difference, not the wt.
so the credibility has gone down in my estimation. -

Yes!! They are God's organization to the millions of new ones that have entered the org. To many old timers, they are still holding out hope that they eventually see the new order.
To those that have seen the light.....................We know the truth!!!

To too many people, they still have credibility. That is how the cancer keeps growing--and why it is so hard to operate with persecution and bans. The only cure for that cancer is to remove that credibility--with that gone, the cancer goes, too. And hopefully I can help ruin some of their credibility.

What R.crusoe and WTwizard wrote!
I think, even to those who don't join, have zero interest and think that JWs are a bunch of religious nuts, the Watchtower still has some credibility simply because its members present a united cause - that might not be true but its all about image!

It was one of their yearbooks that opened my eyes to their lack of credibility -- one where they did their best to whitewash the 1925 debacle.
I've wished several times since reading it that I had written this letter to the Watchtower -- not that it would have done any good with them, except it would have made me feel better.

"...when did they lose it?"
I can't understand how the WTS has any credibility after the generation change of 1995.
