So? He tours all the time. In fact, his group, Answers in Genesis, maintains an ongoing tour schedule for many of their more prominent personalities. It's not surprising that he would eventually end up in the UK at some point.

MR HAM,WHO IS WITH ANSWER IN GENESIS HAS BEEN TOURING BRITAIN, TALKING AT CHURCH SEMINARS ETC. I'll bite. When I escaped the tower in 81, I read the bible everyday. And among other things I read answers in Genesis and Litterature from the institute of creation research. I did this for a good 10 years. So thats my perspective. We become what we think about. We think about what we read. If you read pro evolution material you will be an atheistic evolutionist. If you read pro creation material you will become a creationist and believer in God and the bible. Both sides require faith. Today I am on the fence an agnostic. I will say I just read Dawkins God delusion and my thumbnail commentary on his work is He just took everything I have been reading by the creationist and changed it 10% to say evolution is the creator and not God. As far as I can tell Dawkins could have gotten most of his material from the institute of creation research and just changed a few sentences. From God is the creator to chance is the creator. Personally I dont recall hearing of Richard Dawkins back in the early 80's but I do remember reading about Ken Ham. Thats just my perspective. There was no internet back in 81 that I was aware of, book stores were small and far apart. I may be wrong, Dawkins may be right. For me I have a lot of material to go over and weigh. Because for every issue both sides have appologist to defend their postion. I will probably be an agnostic till the day I die. Because we become what we think about and we think about what we read. And I read both sides.

Will the creationist minister and his ilk have as much success in Britain and Europe as they did here in the more-fundamentalist USA? I have reasons to doubt it. But if Mr. Ham is going mainly to church seminars, he's "preaching to the converted" already.

Would these creationist-evangelists be as successfful in the Hindu, Muslim or Buddhist world, where the viewpoint of the "God / Creator" is quite different than the Christian God Mr. Ham apparently supports? Mr. Ham is preaching to his own kind -- Christians who value faith over science.
