I had a post the day before memorial about what is wrong with the service, thanks for the many responses. I have not been comfortable at that service for years (passing and not eating?), and I was always taught only anointed partake, and that only anointed were in the first century Christian congregation. I was also taught that once they 144k were sealed in 1935, only "replacements" for bad anointed could be chosen.

That means that early Christians had not choice but heaven, and apparently so all the way up til 1935???? That is a whole lot of years that almost everyone was bad. Likewise, it seems WT closed the pearly gates in 1935, only to reopen them in 2007 with a new light change.

Does anyone know of ANY scripture that indicates that all early Christians could only have the heavenly hope? Maybe there were already people on earth with a heavenly hope, and were just not invited to memorial.....oompa

1 Cor. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

This heaven and earth destiny is strictly a WT contrivance. For a born again believer, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. It makes no difference if he is in Heaven or reigning on earth. Believers will always be with the Lord whever he is. This is all any true believer at any age has every truly been concerned with.

For most ex-witnesses it is virtually impossible to understand what the Memorial is about since its such a mockery. It is a BLOOD COVENANT unto the death of both coventanters. We "slit our wrists" and bound our hands with that of the Lord's.... to the death. He went first. His resurrection is the guarantee for ours. Believers love the Lord and just want to be with him. It matters not where.

Having said that the saints apparently return with Christ to earth during his 1000 reign.

    Oomp,

There is no such thing as a heavenly hope. This is a fiction the WTS and others invented. Why? Because they did not understand the Jewish meaning of some words such as God, Heaven, Spirit. There is only the Kingdom of the Heavens which is the Jewish way of saying Kingdom of God since the Jews used words like Heaven in place of the word for God. This Kingdom is to be established here on earth as an extension of the line of David when our Lord returns in the flesh as promised at Acts 1:11. This Kingdom does not exist yet. It is simply foretold and expected at a future time. The WTS has no idea of what the scriptures teach and mumble along like most of Christianity who find themselves in the same situation. They are taught to disobey Christ by not partaking for stupid reasons like their doctrine on the anointed and non-anointed.

P.S. And do not forget about their date setting like the ones you brought out. That has been proven to be stupid as well.
