...it's scary. It's scary not to feel really guilty when someone doesn't like my attitude or what I've said. I'm affraid of becoming cynical and not feeling at all. I'm affraid of going too far and becoming dead as to the feelings of others. On the other hand, I also feel a sort of liberation, a freedom from pointless guilt. It doesn't bother me so much anymore when someone says that they bet my school is getting tired of paying for interpreters. My answer to anyone now is a big TOO F***ING BAD! I'm getting a backbone and that's good, but I don't want to become so hardened that I can't feel my own humanity anymore.
I'm finding the strength to stand on my own, but...

Finding balance is the key to everything. You can't be hard hearted, but you can't care about everyone's problems to your own loss. You can't be selfish, but you can't be fully selfless.
Enjoy the journey, 'cause it's a safe bet we'll never reach the destination!

I know you are full of love White Dove - but the world you are in demands conformity and all you can do is work out how as you go on! Trips and stands are normal! Expect and apologies when you feel it! And be who you are!
It is impossible not to feel like a 10 second sand timer sometimes where you go from ok to wanting out in no time and just on the telling glance of someones eyes at a colleague!
I know it well! I find it hard at such times!
I tend to think, ' So what if you don't know my heart - or if I showed you a dumb pass I just made - I know I am ok to myself - I know I am very loving and very human as nature intended!' maybe then you can smile inside a little at yourself till their negative circle winds down some - and your positive one takes precedence or at least helps balance the auras!
Keep balancing them auras for mother nature! Be environmentally spiritual!

Balancing auras...
Environmentally spiritual...
I can do that! (I can learn to do that, I mean)
Thanks!
