Has any one Joined the Armed forces, " Army, Navy and Air force etc " during or after you left the WT and why.
Tired of the Hypocrisy

I joined the US Navy back in 1980 before I got baptized. I was about to be sworn in when my mother went in and threatened the recruiter. He told her to get out but my mom never backs down from anyone. She made so much trouble he let me go without swearing in.....Now that I look back, I could be retired from the navy after 25 yrs of service, have a pension and a shot at employment with the post office or some other civil service job and retire with two pensions.....what a waste.
