Hi I know I read the "should I own a cat" article here a few months ago. It was new to me but others seemed familiar with it. Could someone direct me to where is, I have tried searching under cat. Or could you ost it again. Thanks for your help.

I read it to a friend of mine who is still in the org but having doubts. She was raised a JW and married an unbeleiver then got baptized in her early twenties ( I used to study with her when I was pioneering). She has been a faithful witness ever since. Her husband is also studying, but his family has been strongly opposed. This led her to do alot of research which in turn led her to the conclusion that something is amiss. I gave her my copy of COC 2 weeks ago and she devoured it. She doesn't have an internet connection so she drove down (from an hour away with 3 kids) just to read this board and the UN stuff as well as research some scriptures with me. It turned out very positively and we had a good time. (I helped get her into this mess so this is the least I could do). We have done some heavy research together but this was just as powerful. She laughed so hard she cried and afterwards told me " It sounded so real" She feels that their is some truth in the JW teachings but too much extra control and false teachings. She told me she does not want to preach about 1914 (even before reading COC) and has been seriously affected by the change in the generation and other teachings. Thanks again for your help! -
