    Hello everyone,

I would like to share some thoughts, concerning the above subject bearing in mind, these written statement made from the WTBS,in the year 1986.

    QfR :

" Why have Jehovah's Witnesses disfellowshipped (excommunicated) for apostasy some who still profess belief in God, the Bible, and Jesus Christ? "

now some quotes, from the answer:

"….Obviously, a basis for approved fellowship with Jehovah's Witnesses cannot rest merely on a belief in God, in the Bible, in Jesus Christ, and so forth. "
    And :

"Approved association with Jehovah's Witnesses requires accepting the entire range of the true teachings of the Bible, including those Scriptural beliefs that are unique to Jehovah's Witnesses."
    And finally:

"… if a Christian (who claims belief in God, the Bible, and Jesus) unrepentantly promotes false teachings, it may be necessary for him to be expelled from the congregation. (See Titus 3:10, 11.) "

    -Watchtower 4/1/86 Page 30-31 -°°°

Why do I bring up this subject ,about those that are
defined by the WTBS " apostates …, worthy of everlasting
destruction, …sons of the devil, …gangrene in the congregation,
…blind and alienated from God, …enemies of the truth...
sons of the devil... etc. etc.???

Well this week the book' study program had a lenghy part about one
of Israel's King namely : King Ahaz, described in the daily text for
    November 16 as

°"…a faithless idolater who had at least one of his
Sons- Hezekiah's own brother- burned alive as a
    sacrifice to a false God! (2 Ki.16:3)"

    and :

    °" Despite this bad example…"

    and :

°" …Rather than imitate the conduct of his unfaithful father, …"

    and also :

°"…Hezekiah would learn to fear Jehovah and avoid repeating
the mistakes of his ungodly father."

The book " Isaiah's Prophecy -Light for all mankind " (I)
reasons even more on the subject. On paragraph 10 page 106
ít is written: " Ahaz may ask for a sign, and Jehovah will perform
it as a guarantee that he will protect the house of David.

Then it continues in § 11 with the following:

" Note that Jehovah's says :'Ask a sign from your God.'
Jehovah is truly kind. Ahaz is already reportedly worshiping
False gods and following disgusting practices. (2Kings 16:3,4)
Despite that and despite Ahaz's fearful attitude, Jehovah still calls
himself the God of Ahaz. This assures us that Jehovahdosen not
reject humans rushly. He is willing to reach out to those who err
or whose faithhas grown weak. Will this assurance of God's love move Ahaz to take hold of Jehovah's hand?

The narration continue with the subheading:

    "From Doubt to Disobedience"

§ 12 starts: " Ahaz replies defiantly :" I shall not ask , neither shall
    I put Jehovah to the test."(Isaiah 7:12) '

Then further down it continues by stating:

" In Ahaz' case , though, Jehovah is inviting him to turn back to
true worship and is offering to strenghten his faith by performing
a sign. However,, Ahaz prefers to seek protection elsewhere."

The following paragraph - 13th - gives the conclusion and an
    application for our times.

"…With the king's lack of faith in his mind, Isaiah says: " Listen
please , O house of David. It is such a little thing for you to tire
out men, that you should also tire out my God?"(Isaiah 7:13)
Yes, Jehovah can get tired of constant defiance. Observe , too, that
the prophet now says " my God " not " your God". An ominous
change! When Ahaz rejects Jehovah and turns to Assyria, he loses
a fine opportunity to restore his relationship with God. "

    Here follows the application:

"…May we never sacrifice our relationship with God by
compromising our Scriptural beliefs in order to gain
    temporary advantages "

(end of paragraph §13 page 107)

Now with the United Nations ' NGO's connection - which
was going on for years , the recent and various written
and/or oral statement by the WTBS the questions are:
I - who is really the one "compromising Scriptural
beliefs in order to gain temporary advantages"???

II- Who is really putting, like unfaithful King Ahaz
trust in mortal men and not in Jehovah???

    III-Who is/was really " a partner " as a recognized
NGO with the " image of the wild beast "???

IV - Why Jehovah , despite the fact that king Ahaz
was an - idolater, false worshiper,
    murderer , ungodly and unfaithful
acted so kindly and lovingly toward him, even
offering to strenghten his faith by performing
a sign.?? Surely this is a proof of Jehovah's
great LOVE even for proved sinners!

V - Although the WTBS acknowledges all these
Biblical facts, it easily condemns, brothers and sisters
or if your prefer fellow Christians for the simple reason
that they DO NOT agree with some of the " teaching".
Mind you not the kind that you would find clearly stated
in the Bible, but : "…those Scriptural beliefs
that are unique to Jehovah's Witnesses.."°°°

Teachings, that most of you are aware already, are
constantly - updated, - modified, and even eliminated
    or if you prefer made…obsolete!

For these great sins - disagreement over man-made doctrines
many have to suffer mistreatment even from close family
members!!! Far, very far from Jehovah's own example that
was given as " study material " for the week beginning the
    12th of November!

What happens when these "modifications " are finally made?
Any apologies, words expressing sorrow, regret.
    Not at all!
Think also of the suffering endured in many nations:

    Germany, Malawi, Monzambique, Albania and

Poland, Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal etc.etc.for issues

    such as:

    vote,

    the alternative to military service,

    organ transplant,

    blood transfusions,

    vaccinations.

My final thought is : I'm very pleased that in the
end, all final judgement is left to Jehovah
    and Jesus Christ.

Thanks for all your patience, and

    Greetings J.C.MacHislopp

P.S. I do remember the meanings of the word
    Charity, among others:

    - loving kindness toward others
    - tolerance in judging others;
    -kindness;
    -leniency.

" One who has an accurate knowledge
of God's Word will have no problem
    in refuting false religious ideas".
