They said the movie will not be a time line in the series Mythology, but rather a story that would be in line with X-files and hopefully do it justice. If you are twenty today, X-files came out when you were 4 and most likely you were not allowed to watch it. I suddenly feel very old.

I actually do not think the movie will do well. The first one bombed. I will see it though, and enjoy it no matter what. I am a diehard fan!!!! I wish the series would come back.

I cannot wait!!! I started a thread awhile back when I first heard- I was so happy! I've been reading every update I find. I didn't watch them when they aired- I got into them later after renting the Dvd's. I'll definitely be seeing this movie opening weekend

You and me both! It has been so long since we have had anything new from Xfiles and the series ended so open ended.
