  When you use go out on field service or if you still do and say you reported 10 Hr per month what per sent of the time did you spend in Dunkin Donuts and right off as field service. https://www.dunkindonuts.com/

  No Dunkin Donuts in my town. City Market, it was a JW haven on Saturdays.

  That is something I notice in the 90's and the new milenium. When I was a witness back in the 60's and 70's we hoofed it out. We were on a mission because the big A was comming in 75.

  Hardee's was huge in one congo I was in. I think the new big thing is St. Louis Bread Co. (aka Panera Bread in the rest of the country).

  We would often get out of the KH late...920-930am....barely put in an hour of door-to-door circus work.....maybe 45min ...before someone suggested that we get to Hardees before they quit serving breakfast....and then of course, each group would trickle in...delaying the early groups from getting out as they all chatted ..... by the time we got done some days it would be after 11 am ...then it was a random call or magazine drop....mostly social calls..before getting back around noon...sometimes 1145....what does that add up to? 3 hours of life wasted for barely an hour of reportable time? what a waste..glad I am not doing it anymore...

  In our congregation, we rarely visited Dunkin Donuts. We had an independent donut shop (sorry, Brother Hounder, I will not cite its name here). We would hit that place on average 2 or 3 times a month. Back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, people were pretty much in the territory most of the time (albeit walking slowly and dawdling).

  We used to go to those markets in the city for drinks a lot. Sometimes we would hit Seven-11 or another similar store for coffee. But that was before Starbucks took off--I wonder how much time is now spent at Starbucks.

  Most of the time, all of it. There were these regular old guys that would listen to me all the time. My group loved me. I'd sit there for an hour, talk religion as we casually drank our coffee and had our muffins. It was wonderful and I was a hero on a regular basis to my group, lol!

  I always made it appoint to conveniently have at the very least, one call right in dunkin donuts. So, first thing, that is what I had to do. Then, go back at 11, bring a bible, tract, and book in with me. Then, see if I could start up a conversation with somebody.

  Totally legal stuff!!!

  Dunkins or any stop was a rare treat. Usually in the winter before our ears could snap off.

  the KH i attended was in a small city with a Mc and a hardee's ( which has closed)..... so the coffee break was a drive thru first thing in the morning......

  however, i have discovered that in canada, tim horton's is a dub mecca during the circus..... they will take up 3 tables and in stage whispers critque the "birdfood" that populates the other tables.....

  i want to scourge myself for ever having been so sanctimonious and self-righteous

  Oh yeah, we were like cops here. You could always find a dub at the donut shop.

  Where I live, we call it " DRUNKEN DONUTS ". Great place to feast when you're drunk.
