Psalm 116 probably wasn't much comfort for those who in their last few milliseconds of life realized that hundreds of tons of concrete were about to crush them out of existence.
The tribute was nice, but I HATE it when such things get ruined by some stupid meaningless Bible quote.

How very sad and a pointless waste of lives. Very touching. Thank you for posting this SL.

AMNESIAN
Touching, without question, but supremely lacking the emotional impact, sensitivity, and accuracy a presentation would offer that reflects the truly broad diversity---racially and ethnically-speaking--- of both the murdered and those who grieve these tragic events.
While touching, it is also both disappointing and insulting.

I was watching the News this morning, as I assume most people were (or listening).
I hope we don't forget. But the resilience of the victims' families is astonishing. The resilience of the surviving victims - even more so.
Outstanding group of everyday people - who continue to prove what everyday people can accomplish.

AMNESIAN,
Have you seen HBO's "In Memoriam"?
If you haven't, do. I'll tell you up front that it's hard to watch, but they cover it all -- and I mean ALL. No commentators... just audio and video as it happened and comments here and there by guiliani and some other city/police/fire officials.
Amazing TV, let me tell ya.
Hats off to HBO. They did good. Real good.
