Here's my humorous take on the sign of the world's end: When people can no longer afford to shop at the dollar store!

The end of MY world is when I find out I have no chocolate covered jujubes left in the house!!!

And the end of THE world will be when I get to Walmart and they have none left on the shelves!!!

IMO, the end of the world (or at least our way of life) will be after we hit Peak Oil... basically meaning that oil supply/yield will decrease and no longer meet the demands of our oil-dependent civilization... Talk about chaos!
