I'm from the UK and I'd be interested to get your opinions on the videos and DVDs that the Society has produced. Not opinions on the content as such (I think I know that already), but on the style and the quality of production.
Speaking as a Brit, I found them incredibly corny/cheesy when I was a Witness. The acting was hammy, and the responses seemed so artifical. What about you Americans? Did you view them as okay?

I was always emabarrassed to watch them, I would never watch them with a study. They were horrible. The Noah video was particularly notorious. I don't know a single witness that ever spoke well of that one.

My Gran liked the Noah video. Her eyesight was terrible.

Tired of the Hypocrisy
I think the videos are actually styled after those old shop safety reels we used to wath in school back in the 1970s. Very crummy, boring, and of little value. Except to the wtbts for a sales pitch. Cheapasses

The Noah cartoon made me and the executives at Disney want to gouge our eyes out with a rusty nail.....what was the budget $400 bucks! The young people ask video was so cheesy if it had anchovies it would be a pizza....like the assembly dramas set in 1950's America..."Oh Mother, how could I have been so foolish! I'm going to pioneer and leave worldly things and boys behind....since it's Saturday night may we do the bible reading and sing Kingdom songs?" GAAAAAAAG!
