I got a load of info. from cenus returns going back to 1841.It was very very absorbing.I found Ancestry.com to be very useful in that regard.Visited church yards and found out where my ancestors were buried and visited where they used to live.Spent the last couple of years doing research. This summer I have arranged a trip to WW1 battle fields to see the memorials to the missing, going to look for a name at theThiephal monument ,

I can't get the link to work? Is it me?
I've been doing my geneology for the past 4 months. I got totally engrossed in my family's lives....before the WT messed up everything. I would encourage anyone feeling the hole left by shunning to try it. It helps.
