    Three Things to Ponder:

       1. Cows

    2. The Constitution

    3. The Ten Commandments

       C O W S

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad
cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada
almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state
of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they
are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our
country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq . Why don't we

just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it

has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a

    courthouse is this:

You cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal,' 'Thou Shalt Not Commit

Adultery,' and 'Thou Shalt Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers,

judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.

    Very funny!

Would probably save us in WIC costs too! A cow and a little plot of land for a veggie garden. Not a bad idea.

    Deb,

    Good points.

How about this -- the government can keep track of a single cow and where every single hamburger from that cow ends up but they can't figure out how to make sure that our voting system is secure and tamper proof.

    Cheers,

    Funny points but ponder these:

the reason the government can track the cow is because it was tagged and every time it gets moved from one place to another, the tag number is noted and tracked. Although perfectly workable I think there would be some objections to doing this with humans.

A number of tin pot governments around the world use constitutions that are very much like ours. But they don't work if the people don't want to make them work.

Lawyers: We all hate them when they're lying, stealing etc, except when they're lying stealing etc FOR us.
