While I was on youtube looking at exjw clips, I came across a clip titled "paradiseisgodsplan", it was from wts giving perspective on different topics, the bible,jesus,etc. The persons speaking were elders, a "jw spokesman" , someone titled "jw general counsel" & I suppose others. There was a link to other websites, one of them giving an explanation about payouts in child abuse cases as well there answer to why they impose gag orders. I find this interesting because I remember being in a meeting when the co was visiting, and he was talking about the dangers of the internet, specifically the sites, youtube & myspace. When did the wts start using youtube as a means of communication & were the sheep told of the change? When I left 4 mths ago I had never heard any backtracking re: the use of the internet. Has anyone heard of this?

Do you think this is directly the WTS?
Or is this just another JW who as decided (independently too) that the internet is not as dangerous as Mother has warned?

yknot, thanks for the head's up, I went back to take a second look & I could see it wasn't coming directly from the wts because there was an american flag next to the address on the bottom, also, it's format is much the same as another jw website that someone on another thread just posted me about. But do you think the clips that say they are a "jw spokesman" & "jw legal counsel" are in fact who they say they are? Also, I took a look at the link they have re: child abuse etc., & I could see by the symbols/pictures they have next to the info that the wts wouldn't use them, i.e., cupid, & others....duh...but it does sound like wts speak....thanks.
