I walked out to my car to get a few things before I go to bed, and man its cold out there, I could see my breath. I wish I was back in Myrtle Beach. Did I mention going there 3 weeks ago?
Had a good time, the weather was warm, and the sunshine was much needed. The seafood wasn't too shabby either.

Out west, it is hot. Washington state is having highs near 100 in interior sections. And that means the east is going to be colder than normal. However, that trend usually doesn't last forever--it's only a matter of time before the heat is going east.

Myrtle is a cool place but there is a nicer beach south of there called Litchfield Beach. More secluded and less touristry. That's where I want to retire. Their oysters are good too.

Hi
Its cool here too in Kawartha Lakes Ontario. I am about 2 hours northeast of Toronto. Its pouring rain today, YUK. Yesterday it was sunny and beautiful. The weekend is here and now its awful.
Its a long weekend here in Canada and I live in an area where all the city people swarm to their cabins on the lake on long weekends starting this weekend.
It was crazy in my little town yesterday, everyone rushing through with campers and trailers and 5th wheels, scooping up supplies for the weekend on the Lakes. Now today its gloomy, cold and pouring rain. I feel bad for the people, whatever will they do all weekend??
Summer hurry up and get here. I want warm sunny weather.

Yeah I'm familiar with Litchfield Beach as I drove all the way down to Georgetown this time.
I would prefer to retire in Little River SC or Calabash NC, have you ever been to Calabash? -

I hear Hawaii is the only place in the US with a perfect climate, in the 70's with low humidity.
Here in Florida its too hot already. Sitting in the AC. at 3 in the afternoon and 3 in the a.m.

wha happened?
uhm Hawaii is all about the humidity.
Here in the south coast of Cali, it rarely gets above 80 and rarely gets into the 50's. We don't have air conditioning and I have little to complain about except for a few days a year -

Growing up in NC and be so close to Myrtle, we always went a few times a year. If I go to the beach now it is either to Calabash or Sunset Beach. Myrtle is just way too crowed. Haven't been the last few years. We have gotten spoiled going to the Carribean each year. There is no comparison and don't miss the NC or SC beachs!
