One thing that has always confused me about the JW's is they promise you a free Bible study course but always pull out some other book. The times this has happened to me, we didn't even open the Bible. What's up with that? hmmmmm.....

Why not call up your local king hall and ask them if they could send someone over to study the bible w just the bible? When they slip in the other book, remind them of the original condition, and ask them why they can't stick to it.

That's how they start the process of brainwashing. They use their litirature and then use bits and piecses of the bible to make it sound like their version is correct.

And why do they call it "free"? There is nothing "free" about it ie. you can only study at a cost. As soon as you are sucked in, if you try to question or leave you are told that you'll die. Simple as that.
Well, as it happens, if you study the Bible - the JW can't repport a Bible-study!
I don't have the English books on the subject, but hopefully someone can post the rules on this - that you actually have to study a Watchtower publication to have a "Bible-study". LOL

1) # of bible studies conducted
2)WT publication studied
