I've just been looking at the first post on this site page 668 or something. All the first posts seem to be from active witnesses, discussing things like the new system and when will the end come.
Heres a question for Simon first what was your intention when you started this site ?Were you an active witness?
when did things change and why?
And for the rest , Did this site influence you in any way ?
Did you start off by looking to find fault with apostates?
Were you a witness when you first posted?

We had already made our decision and had not been to meetings in several months. I was feeling like I was in limbo and "where do I go from here". I was searching the web for something to latch on to. This site has been an incredible learning experience for me. It has validated my feelings. I know now that there are many more out there like me. We are not alone.
So I would say, no, we were no longer considering ourselves to be JWs we I found this site.Target

We were out for two years, but coming here really sealed it up. We needed a site like this to tell me that I wasn't going to die forever for my 'spiritual crimes'.

Yes... and still am "technically". : ) I agree with Target... we are all not alone, and that knowledge helps tremendously with what each of us has to go through at our own pace.

Personnally', I were still thinking like a jehovah witness. So I had a lot of culpabilities. This site really opened my eyes to what is the truth about this religion.
