how come the wts literature is so simple when in times past it was deep with alot of antitypes?

Because the sheep are dumber ... just the way the WTS likes them.

As a side note ... the GB are a lot dumber too, and a lot less imaginative.

Franz wrote a lot of the antitype rubbish. Now he is dead no one cares. Also, people have shorter attention spans now so the magazines have to change with the times.

Because the WTS isn't about the bible ......it all about name recognition, brand loyalty and product placement.

I call it laziness. Before, they would write non sequiturs involving antitypes. That was nothing more than using a past event as a pattern for a future one, which always failed. Now, those who used that approach are all dead and now what's left is a Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger that worries more about masturbation, oral sex, and college than antitypes.

The WTS does bring up "antitype" from time to time but I bet few jws could explain it.
