I know here it would have made front page news, been on tv a few 100 times, would have made international news, there would have been an outcry, the boys would have been found guilty and be serving time.
bttt
It very well may have been a racist attack. Here in America, the media only screams "racist" when a white person does something to somebody who isn't white. If a white dude gets killed by a black dude, no biggie.
Personally, I don't care what color person killed somebody. I don't care if somebody got killed because the other person didn't like their color or if they just wanted their wallet, or their dog told them to do it. Murder is murder, and if somebody committed a murder, it shouldn't matter why. They should be executed for their crime.
Here in Atlanta, an Indian man by the name of Chiman Rai had his daughter-in-law murdered because she wasn't Indian; she was black. I wonder why he wasn't prosecuted for committing a "hate crime"? I think what he did fits the definition! It was a racially-motivated crime. I guarantee if a white man had his black daughter-in-law murdered, wether or not it was racially motivated, it would have made international news and he'd definitely be labeled a racist.
<sigh> Us poor white people..... we just don't get no breaks! <----- insert sarcasm here...
