I went and saw this movie last night and while I liked it to some degree, I was disappointed in it not being more then it was. I was liking the idea of watching a man who had super powers, go from a drunk to something more, and thought it would have a more human edge. In the movie, it even hinted towards a possible super villain and then comes this big off the wall twist of the wife being a super hero too. Not just a super hero, but a product of the Gods with a love story that seemed to hint to the hatred in history of a black man and woman coming together. Some sort of irony, that you can live forever alone or you could find your true love and grow old and die, but what if your true love was so politically incorrect, that it prevented you from ending your life too soon. I don't know, I just found myself thinking, 'I want more then this from this movie, and a super hero movie.' Iron man was great and even the Incredible Hulk was good. I just wanted more from this one and felt they were more in to shocking you with the twist and not giving you the story behind it, in much detail. In the end, I felt a little "Well that sucks for Hancock!' and thought that Theron's character gave up too easy. If I loved someone that much, I would find a way and not give my heart away so easy in giving up.

Too add - If you have children, young ones, there is way to much cussing in this movie for that age group. Especially the usage and high focus on the word - Asshole -.
