I think I had a similar topic to this before, so I will call this part 2.

My brother Darin was taking his daughter Darby home from Kings Island the other day. He wanted to take a different road home and see where the new kingdom hall was going to be built.

They passed by the sight and then Darby asks Darin, "Daddy why don't you go to the kingdom hall?"

Darin figured she was now old enough for this conversation.

He tells her that all of the things she enjoys doing--celebrating birthdays,Christmas, karate classes are all forbidden to Jehovah's Witnesses.

He asked her if she knew what blood transfusions were,she said no, so he asked her if she had heard about people being in accidents and needing blood to live, she says "yes". He then told her that Jehovah's Witnesses are forbidden to take blood even if it kills them for refusing.

He also told her that if she was a baptized Jehovah's Witness she would be told not to have anything to do with him.

She looked at him and said "Man those people are controlling"

Pretty soon she'll figure out that it's a cult, too.

Kids say the cutest things. They're also the most honest as they tend to speak from their own minds.

She sounds like a smart child.

Kids have an amazing sense of justice if people will just allow them to listen to their gut. Glad Darin is allowing her to listen to her intuition.

Leave it to Darby to speak her mind. After all she is your niece. I just wonder if she has that conversation with your dad? If he ever would come around her. I would like to be a fly on that wall.

Thanks JG......that is exactly why the under the age of 20 JW kids are much smarter than we ever were. They can see through the BS....the ROSE COLORED picture of a paradise where everything is wonderful.......the EVERYONE WHO ISN'T A JW IS GOING TO SUFFER.........LIE!
